Cooks Valley Cemetery Meeting

Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual cemetery meeting to order on June 13, 2016 at 8:42 pm.  Cemetery committee present:  Darrel Fehr, David Clements and Matt Borofka.  Delegation present: Victoria Trinko, Judy Prince, Beth Pagel, Judy and Jim Lueck.   

David Clements made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the June 8, 2015 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting.  Darrel Fehr seconded the motion.  The motion passed 3-0. 

Discussion and action on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery:  The funding allocated for the cemetery maintenance has been ample.  Darrel Fehr made a motion to continue the same amount of funding for cemetery maintenance as in previous years.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. There is $12,347.45 in the cemetery fund.  The Town of Cooks Valley can use money above $10,000.00 for large projects for the cemetery.  Victoria Trinko expressed appreciation to Jim Lueck for hanging the cemetery plot layout picture frame.  People have consulted the plat to locate the plot of an ancestor to erect a headstone. 

David Clements made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:46 pm. Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
